Summary
The paper shortly describes the challenges in developing embedded applications, how they relate to the complexity of an embedded system, like cell phones. The author proposes some solutions to combat these problems, like doing hardware and software development in parallel, and adding simulation environments and debuggers to optimize the process of development.

Methods
We are presented with software and hardware development tools and environments that help alleviate the complexity of embedded systems.

Systems Integration Relevance
One of the key factors in our OPP process is to optimize different parts of the development of the mobile system. This papers proposes some solutions on how to achieve just that.
